Insect Heroes
Miyama Mask (blue) and Kuwagata Ninja (red) are insect characters that specialize in stag beetles and impress even insect experts. They travel around the country in a camping car and conduct insect events that teach children about environmental conservation from an insect's perspective. They conduct ecological surveys not only in Japan, but also in Java and Sulawesi Islands in Indonesia and Taiwan. In 2014, they launched the forest restoration project "Yoro no Mori" with Mokusuke Yorou and others. They have filmed live videos of all domestic species of stag beetles (46 species), which no one has ever accomplished, and distributed them on YouTube.

He mainly plans and operates insect events and also produces professional wrestling shows. He was born in Ehime Prefecture in 1972 and made his debut in UWF in 1990. He later worked for UWF International, All Japan Pro Wrestling, and New Japan Pro Wrestling, among others. He retired in 2006 due to injury and then served as a member of the IWGP Executive Committee of New Japan Pro Wrestling, awarding championship belts, and other roles. In 2014, he was diagnosed with malignant lymphoma and began battling the disease. In August 2017, he made a surprise return to wrestling by facing Yoshiaki Fujiwara. On January 4, 2018, he won a battle royal at the Tokyo Dome event of New Japan Pro Wrestling. In August of the same year, he faced Minoru Suzuki in the main event. Currently, he produces insect events and insect exhibitions.
